Exciting News: We are renovating our indoor play yards!

While we have enjoyed our turf play yards since 2013, it is time for a change – the new rubber play surface will be easier to clean and sanitize, so dogs will have a cleaner, healthier surface to play on leading to cleaner, healthier dogs. This will also enable us to have training classes and other events indoors. We will be doing the project in two phases (½ the indoor arena at a time). The first phase is estimated to be between October 18th to November 10th. We expect to begin the second half after the holidays.

This is a huge project – the indoor play yards are 7000 square feet and the project will include removing the current surface, leveling the surface, pouring concrete, sealing the concrete, applying the rubber surface, sealing the rubber, then re-installing the fencing and play yards in a new layout better suited to fun and safe play.

Because of the scale of the project there will be some disruption to our daily routine during times when the indoor play yards are not available or only partially available. For most of the construction we will be using half of the indoor play yards. For approximately 5 days (est. October 18-22) we will be participating in outdoor play only or (in bad weather) shorter small group indoor play with individual enrichment/play sessions. During renovations private play dogs will have an extra one-on-one play session and a free lunch & learn activity (if allowed), but will not have access to the indoor play yard during the group play times. We will do our best to communicate in advance about any schedule change. We appreciate your patience and flexibility during this time so that we can improve the facility for your pups.

We highly recommend booking your daycare days for this time period in advance. While we expect to be able to accommodate our regular numbers of daycare if there is a day when we need to limit numbers we will accept drop in daycare on a first come first serve basis until capacity is reached. Similarly with boarding, if you have dates in mind that overlap this time we recommend booking ASAP just in case we need to set a lower capacity for boarding dogs.

Please call (732) 872-7543 or respond to this email to book days in advance.

Thank you for your patience during this process. We hope you will be thrilled with the new play yards!
